Race for the Cure This Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Every month is a good time to support Breast Cancer Awareness, but October is officially recognized as a dedicated month for the cause. One great way to participate this month is by joining a Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in your area.
The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure is the largest and most successful event for breast cancer education and fundraising in the world. Since its inception, the Race for the Cure Series has raised over $2 billion for breast cancer research. These 5K runs and walks are meant for people of all ages and fitness levels.
Originating as a race of 800 people in Dallas, TX, the Race for the Cure Series now counts 150 races across 4 continents with nearly 1 million participants.
