    • Oral Exam

A comprehensive oral exam is an extensive evaluation and the recording of all extraoral, intraoral and soft tissues of the mouth. A comprehensive exam lays the foundation for the “routine (periodic) oral exam” and is much more than just a cleaning. The mouth is really a window into the body.  Medical conditions may be discovered by a comprehensive dental exam before symptoms show up elsewhere in the body.

      and X-Rays

Dental X-ray examinations provide valuable information that helps your dentist evaluate your oral health. With the help of radiographs (the term for pictures taken with X-rays), your dentist can look at what is happening beneath the surface of your teeth and gums. If you have questions about your dental X-ray exam, talk with your dentist.

    • Teeth Cleaning

    • Crowns

Dental crowns and bridges are very popular among people of all ages, of either sex, and regardless of ethnic diversity. These are mostly cosmetic forms of treatment, covering unsightly teeth or replacing missing teeth. read more

      and Bridges

Bridges resemble natural teeth, and are designed to take the place of areas where there are missing teeth. A bridge is a stationary dental prosthesis (appliance) fixed to teeth adjacent to a space. It replaces one or more missing teeth, cemented or bonded, to supporting teeth or implants adjacent to the space. read more

    • Endodontics

      Root Canal

Unfortunately not all teeth are perfectly healthy. We can save a damaged tooth by performing a root canal — which removes decay on the interior space of the root. We will discuss this and other options with you before determining what works best for you.

    • Prosthodontics

“Prosthodontics” involves dentures, bridges, crowns, implants, and similar areas of expertise commonly associated with cosmetic dentistry. Many dentists who specialize in prosthodontics also go on to receive special training in oral or maxillofacial surgery or prosthodontics. read more

      Dentures

Dentures are removable (partial or complete) set of artificial teeth. Whether you have lost teeth due to decay or an accident, we can help you feel confident and get you smiling again with properly fitting dentures. Let us work with you to determine what method works best for you.

      , Dental Implants

Sometimes, a missing tooth will create the need for a dental implant. A dentist typically uses implants replace a missing tooth or teeth. Dental implants are normally made of titanium at the root, with a traditional crown as the tooth itself. They are an excellent alternative to pulling several teeth in order to utilize a bridge or to get dentures. However, dentures can be made from implants, but can be quite costly without dental insurance coverage.

    • Periodontics

A dental specialist who treats the gums and supporting soft and hard tissues in order to retain natural teeth and prepare for surgical placement of dental implants. Heredity, diet and other factors can result in gum disease. We will help you get a treatment plan that aggressively attacks any form of periodontal disease that will soon have your mouth back in top health.

      Treatment of Gum Disease

It is possible to have periodontal disease and have no warning signs. Treatment methods depend upon the type of disease and how far the condition has progressed. Good oral hygiene at home is essential to help keep periodontal disease from becoming more serious or recurring. You don’t have to lose teeth to periodontal disease. Brush, clean between your teeth, eat a balanced diet, and schedule regular dental visits for a lifetime of healthy smiles.

    • Pediatric Dentistry (Children)

As the name implies, pediatric dentistry is the field of medicine that deals with dentists for children. A children’s dentist specializes in the care of a child’s small mouth and teeth, normally including braces, invisible braces, crowns, fillings, cleanings, plates, x-rays, and similar tools in everyday work. read more

    • Orthodontics

Orthodontics is somewhat similar to prosthodontics, since both use artificial means of replacing, repairing, or correcting the smile and jaw. However, where prosthodontics focus on bridges, dentures, and implants, orthodontics normally involves dental braces and similar features in order to do the job. read more

      Braces

Devices used by orthodontists to gradually reposition teeth to a more favorable alignment.

      , Invisalign

Invisalign is a series of removable, clear aligners that both orthodontists and dentists use to promote an invisible way of straightening teeth without using traditional braces.

    Patient Testimonials

My family had not been to the dentist in years, but last year our oldest son had an accident that broke his front tooth. We took him to Monarch Dental and they repaired his tooth by placing a veneer on the front tooth. His smile looks wonderful. Therefore after having such a wonderful experience with my son, we decided that the whole family needed to get in and have a check up. I scheduled all four of us in two days. I was first and only needed a cleaning. Our youngest son was next and he needed several procedures performed. We scheduled him for the following week to have the procedures performed on one side of his mouth. To any adult this would have seemed like tourture, but they were so kind and gentle with him that he never complained once. He didn't even need an asprin following the procedures. I can not thank Dr. Azangue enough, because not only is my son not afraid of the dentist, but he even looks forward to having the other side of his mouth done. Thank you Grand Prairie staff for your kindness, professionalism, and gentleness with my 9 yr old son. Shelly W.

Dr. Stigger was so nice and patient with me during my root canal. She went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and did not feel any pain.
