It's hard to recognize a good dentist until you've been to some bad ones. Dr. Tina Nguyen and office manager Yolanda are not good, they are exceptional. Over two years ago, I had a bridge installed by a different dentist. Shortly after, I had to have a root canal on one of the crowns supporting the bridge. The crown fractured and all efforts to replace the bridge with support from insurance failed. I was looking at over $3,500 to replace and surely could not afford it. Two months ago was my first experience with Yolanda and Dr. Nguyen. I was in for a cleaning and an exam. After telling them my story, Dr Nguyen Immediately went up to bat. They both agreed that what happened was unacceptable. They took time to consult with me and to further explain why living with this fracture is not a good idea. I'm not sure how they accomplished this but they got me a new bridge for less than a fifth of the original estimate. I am happy because of cost savings but more importantly, I am happy because I feel a great sence of customer care. Not just from them but from the entire staff at Monarch Dental.
